About Mortal Kombat 11 - Masquerade Skin Pack (DLC)
The Masquerade Skin Pack is exactly what it says on the label: three alternate costumes for Mortal Kombat 11, dressed up in Halloween-adjacent themes. Wicked Witch Jade leans into classic spooky fantasy, Psyko Killer Kabal goes slasher-movie with his already unsettling gas-mask look, and Calavera Liu Kang draws on Day of the Dead imagery for a visually distinct take on one of the franchise's most iconic characters. None of this changes how you play. It is purely cosmetic, full stop. If you are already sinking hours into MK11's Towers of Time, online ranked matches, or local split-screen sessions with friends, these skins slot right into that without friction. NetherRealm's character models hold up well enough that costume variety actually matters - you notice the detail work during pre-fight intros and fatalities. Psyko Killer Kabal in particular fits the character so naturally it almost feels like it should have shipped at launch. That said, there is no getting around what this is: a small cosmetic add-on covering three characters out of a large roster. If Jade, Kabal, or Liu Kang are not in your regular rotation, the pack has almost zero value for you personally. And even if they are, this is the kind of purchase that lives or dies on how much you care about presentation versus function. The base game's Kustomization system already offers a lot of visual variation, so the Masquerade Pack is competing with content you might already have unlocked through normal play. For seasonal players who fire up MK11 around October and want something that matches the mood, or for collectors who want the full cosmetic catalogue tidy and complete, this fills a specific niche cleanly. Everyone else should weigh how much screen time those three characters actually get in their sessions before clicking buy. Alex, Scout Team
