GamerScout Verdict
A forgettable puzzle-clicker with stable mechanics but no staying power, skip unless you need filler between real games.

About MEGALONIA
I went in expecting either a hidden gem or a cautionary tale, and MEGALONIA splits the difference. It's a casual puzzle-action game that tries to blend real-time clicking with strategic block manipulation. The core loop is simple enough to pick up in minutes, but the lack of depth means most players will exhaust the novelty before hitting hour two. Performance is stable, the UI doesn't get in your way, and there's no pretense here, it knows what it is. The real issue is that MEGALONIA doesn't commit hard enough to any one idea. It's too light on strategy to grip puzzle fans, too twitchy for pure casual audiences, and too short to justify replaying. If you're desperate for a throwaway time-killer and your backlog is somehow cleared, it won't hurt. Otherwise, skip it.
