What you get is one three-round-burst assault rifle added to your armory, usable by Shepard in the campaign and by compatible multiplayer kits, with no missions, characters, or story content attached. Completionists filling out the weapon locker, or anyone who prefers burst fire over full auto on a Soldier build, will want it. Everyone else loses nothing by skipping.
