Mario + Rabbids Compilation (Kingdom Battle + Sparks of Hope)
Two solid tactical strategy games bundled together, but the Switch version feels like a compromise for a console that barely keeps up.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for Switch owners who want light strategy without the patience for XCOM, or fans of Mario willing to tolerate the hardware's limits.

About Mario + Rabbids Compilation (Kingdom Battle + Sparks of Hope)
I went in expecting Mario's charm to carry shallow tactics, and I wasn't entirely wrong. Kingdom Battle is a turn-based strategy game where you move Mario, Luigi, Peach, and an absurd squad of Rabbids across grid-based maps, lobbing attacks and setting up combos. It's colorful, turns are snappy, and the collision-based puzzle-fighting hooks you early. Sparks of Hope iterates smartly: better maps, genuine squad variety, and a less gimmicky feel. Both games work as handheld strategy, and the humor lands more often than it flops. Here's the catch: this is the Switch version of two games that originally launched on better hardware. Performance dips show up in busier scenes, load times are noticeable, and the overhead camera can feel cramped on a portable screen. If you own a Switch and want light tactics without punishing difficulty, this bundle scratches that itch. But if you've got a PS4 or PC nearby, grab the standalone versions instead.
