Compare Magicka 2 prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Pieces Interactive. Published by Paradox Interactive. Released on 5/26/2015. Available on PC. Genres: Action, Adventure.

Chaotic co-op spell-slinging that rewards creative button-mashing more than strategy, best enjoyed with friends who don't mind occasional frustration.

Magicka 2 leans hard into absurdist humor and deliberate jank. You're a wizard flinging element combinations at hordes of enemies, and the magic system works by mixing keystroke combos - fire, frost, lightning, arcane, shield - into whatever effects stick. Single-player is serviceable but uneven; the real draw is couch or online co-op, where friendly-fire chaos and spell-combo experimentation turn combat into organized bedlam. The game knows what it is: goofy, unpolished, sometimes frustratingly obtuse about what your spells will actually do. It's not trying to be a tightly balanced action game. Expect wild difficulty spikes, knockback that ragdolls you into pits, and moments where you'll swear the game cheated. But if you have patience for experimental magic systems and enjoy friends laughing at predictably dumb deaths, there's a peculiar charm here. The irreverent tone carries it through rougher moments.
