Lop Nor Zombie VR (HTC Vive)

I went in expecting janky, and Lop Nor Zombie VR doesn't disappoint on that front. You're a soldier clearing a contaminated lab of infected staff, armed with whatever firearms you can scavenge. The premise is straightforward: survive waves of zombies, manage ammo, don't get overwhelmed. It's a singleplayer HTC Vive exclusive, so if you've got the headset and a taste for early VR arcade shooting, the mechanical loop is functional enough. What keeps it from being completely disposable is that it doesn't try to be anything it's not. No story pretense, no half-baked puzzle elements, just you and waves of enemies in tight spaces. The graphics are dated even for 2016, and the AI is predictable, but if you're the type who finds zen in simple wave-survival shooters, the core loop works. It's a bottom-shelf VR curiosity that knows its lane and stays in it.
