LEGO Marvel Collection
A collection of three LEGO Marvel games that lean hard on co-op chaos and comic-book fan service, but feel dated compared to modern action-adventures.
GamerScout Verdict
Solid couch co-op fun for Marvel fans, but mission repetition and age show if you're flying solo.

About LEGO Marvel Collection
I went in expecting colorful LEGO brick-smashing fun, and that's exactly what this collection delivers - three full games bundled together. You get LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and LEGO Marvel's Avengers, all playable solo or split-screen co-op. The appeal is straightforward: smash stuff, solve light puzzles, unlock playable versions of every Marvel character you can think of. Combat is button-mashing simplicity, and that's the point - it's designed for younger players or anyone wanting a relaxing superhero romp with a friend. The catch is age. These games came out between 2013 and 2016, and it shows in the mission design, humor timing, and camera work. They're not bad, just repetitive if you've played one LEGO game before. The humor skews toward Marvel fans who'll get the character cameos, but the dialogue can grate fast. Co-op is where it shines - splitting the screen and tackling levels together keeps the formula from feeling stale. If you want couch co-op Marvel action without thinking too hard, this scratches that itch. Solo play is fine but slower.
