LEGO Batman - Trilogy
Three LEGO Batman games bundled together: straightforward co-op beat-em-ups with construction puzzles and DC fan service, best played with a friend on the couch.
GamerScout Verdict
Solid co-op fare for Batman fans willing to forgive repetitive puzzle design and dated visuals.

About LEGO Batman - Trilogy
I've got a soft spot for the LEGO game formula, and this trilogy packages the first three Batman entries in one go. They're uncomplicated: smash studs, solve block puzzles, unlock characters, rinse repeat. The draw here is co-op accessibility and DC Universe fan service, Batman, Robin, Joker, and deep-cut villains all playable. Metacritic sits at 80, which feels about right: solid level design and humor that lands if you know the characters, but nothing innovative. These games are relics of the mid-2010s LEGO blueprint, which means they hold up fine mechanically but feel a little dated graphically. If you want mindless fun with a partner and don't mind tired puzzle conventions, grab the trilogy. Solo players will find the repetition sets in faster. The PC port runs without drama, but this is fundamentally a couch co-op game trying to live on a keyboard.
