Legendary Fishing is a straightforward fishing simulation built for console comfort rather than simulation depth. You're picking locations, selecting tackle, and reeling in catches across a handful of environments. The game doesn't pretend to be a technical recreation of angling mechanics; it's more about the rhythm of casting and waiting, with enough progression (new gear, trophy fish) to keep sessions feeling purposeful. Motion controls work as expected for a motion-based fishing game on Nintendo hardware. Where it stumbles is scope. The fishing spots feel limited, and the loop gets predictable faster than most players will finish. There's no multiplayer to extend replay value, and the career progression lacks the hooks (pardon the pun) that would make casual players stick around long-term. If you're after a chill, low-commitment fishing experience for brief play sessions, it delivers. If you want depth, variety, or reasons to keep playing past the first week, look elsewhere.
