Compare Kolumno prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by DevilishGames. Published by DevilishGames. Released on 11/15/2018. Available on PC. Genres: Casual, Indie.

A minimalist drop-the-block puzzler with a deceptively cruel back half. Stick with it past the fumbling first hour and it turns into something quietly hypnotic.

The first hour of Kolumno feels unfair in a way that has nothing to do with difficulty. You are dropping a ball through rotating geometric columns, and the game gives you almost nothing: no tutorial voice, no explanation of why your timing keeps missing by a hair. That friction is real, and a chunk of the Mixed review score comes from people who bounced off it. But the muscle memory arrives around level twenty, and once it does the whole thing reframes itself. The clean shapes stop being decoration and start being information. It is a small, patient, precision-timing game that trusts you to figure out its language on your own. What DevilishGames built here is genuinely lovely to sit inside: soft geometry, a calm soundscape, controller support that makes it a proper couch game via Remote Play. The trouble is the difficulty curve, which does not curve so much as step off a ledge. Later stages stack gimmicks fast enough that trial and error replaces reading, and a few of them cross from demanding into tedious. It is short, it knows it is short, and it ends before the repetition fully sours. Go in for the mood and the hand-craft, not for a fair fight. Kai, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Worth it for minimalist puzzle fans who want mood and precision over fairness, and can shrug off a brutal back half.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
