A short, moody pyramid puzzler with atmosphere to spare and controls that will test your patience before its riddles do.

The first hour of Khaba is where most people bounce off it, and it has nothing to do with the puzzles. Michael moves like he is wading through sand, the camera fights you in tight chambers, and interacting with objects means lining yourself up just so before the prompt appears. Push past that and the pyramid opens up into something quietly worth seeing: light-and-mirror rooms, pressure plates, mechanisms that ask you to read the space rather than mash buttons, all wrapped in an oppressive stillness that a lot of bigger adventure games never manage. The puzzles themselves sit on the gentle side of the difficulty curve. You are here for the descent and the slow reveal of who Michael actually is, not for a brain workout. It is short, it is rough around the edges, and the story lands more as an atmosphere piece than a twist you will discuss afterward. If you want a first-person puzzle adventure with real environmental mood and you can forgive stiff movement, this is a pleasant evening. If clumsy controls sour a game for you, skip it. Worth an evening if you value atmosphere over challenge and can tolerate stiff first-person movement.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
