Journey For Elysium
A VR mood piece built around one great idea: rowing a boat down the Styx. Worth an evening if atmosphere sells you, less so if you came for the puzzles.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for VR owners who want a two-to-three hour atmospheric boat ride and will forgive lightweight puzzle design.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Journey For Elysium
If you liked The Room VR's slow, hands-on puzzle boxes, Journey For Elysium runs on similar instincts, except the whole thing floats. You spend most of it in a boat on the Styx, physically pulling the oars, stepping ashore to solve a light environmental puzzle, then rowing on toward Elysium while the game doles out your memories in fragments. The rowing is the star: it has weight and rhythm, and it sells the underworld as a place you are crossing rather than clicking through. The puzzles are the thinner half. Most are torch-fetching and lever-pulling meant to break up the paddling, and the story sits between atmospheric and undercooked depending on how much Greek myth you walk in with. It is short, closer to one long evening than a campaign, and it is VR-only, so the flat-screen crowd should skip it. Go in wanting mood and good hands, not a puzzle showcase.
