The first hour is built to feel unfair. Rooms start out mostly invisible, and the only way to learn a layout is to jump blind and let the paint your character sheds splatter across the walls and platforms you just smacked into. Deaths are cheap, restarts are instant, and it clicks the moment you stop reading a death as failure and start reading it as a map update. Push through that hour or bounce off completely, because there is no middle setting here. As for the Deluxe part, the listing does not itemize what you actually get over the standard version, and that matters. Deluxe tiers on small precision platformers are usually a soundtrack and a cosmetic or two, not extra content. If the pack in front of you names additional stages or a second game in the series, that is genuine added play time and worth the step up. If it lists music and art files, take the base game instead and let the extras go.
