In Fear I Trust: Episode 3
A short, moody Soviet-horror walking sim built on lock-and-key puzzles. Atmosphere carries it; the scares and the story mostly don't.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth a look only if you already played Episodes 1 and 2 and want the atmosphere more than the scares.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About In Fear I Trust: Episode 3
Somewhere in the second stretch of corridors I found myself holding a valve handle, staring at three pipes, and realizing the game had stopped trying to scare me at all. That is the honest rhythm of this episode: dim Soviet interiors, a flashlight, a locked door, and an object you carry from one room to another until something clicks open. Episode 3 continues the story of a man tangled up in a secret experiment, and it arrives as a downloadable chunk rather than a standalone piece, so walking in cold means shrugging at half the references. What works is the dressing. Peeling institutional paint, flickering bulbs, the low hum of a place nobody maintained. When it leans on quiet dread instead of jump cuts, it lands. What does not work is everything asked of your hands. Puzzles are inventory fetch logic with a thin coat of narrative, the pacing sags, and the whole thing is over in a sitting. It is a mood piece dressed as an adventure game, and the mood is the only part running at full power. Take it as a short atmospheric detour, not a horror centerpiece.
