For survival fans willing to overlook 2012 jank in exchange for genuine resource-scarcity tension.

About I Am Alive
I Am Alive strips away the action-hero fantasy and forces you to play as an exhausted, ordinary person in a collapsed city. Supplies are scarce, your character tires quickly, and combat is genuinely risky because you're just not equipped to handle threats. Climbing crumbling buildings, rationing food, and choosing whether to engage armed survivors creates real tension, even if the controls feel dated and animations stiff. The game's aged hard. Uplay exclusivity, low-resolution assets, and repetitive environments make it feel small and shallow by modern standards. But if you're hunting for that specific 2010s survival vibe where scarcity is the enemy, not hordes of enemies, there's something genuine here. It's rough, it's short, and it's absolutely not for everyone, but it knows what it's trying to do.
