Harvest Life + Castaway Paradise
Two mellow life sims bundled together, both aimed at kids or anyone who wants farming with zero pressure. Neither has the depth to hold an adult for long.
GamerScout Verdict
A gentle starter farm sim for young or casual players; anyone who has touched Stardew will exhaust it in an afternoon.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Harvest Life + Castaway Paradise
Day three on the farm, I planted a row of carrots, watered them, and then realized there was nothing else to do until tomorrow. No stamina to manage, no cave to raid, no festival to prep for. Just sleep, wake up, harvest, repeat. That loop is the honest core of Harvest Life, and its bundled partner Castaway Paradise runs the same idea on a tropical island with animal neighbours to befriend and decorate for. Both are single-player, controller-friendly, and pitched at players who find Stardew Valley stressful. The farming sim half gives you crops, livestock, upgrades, a small town to charm, and a romance track if you keep talking to the right person. The island half leans harder into fetch quests and cosmetics. The problem is that neither game has much resistance in it. Tasks are simple, the economy is generous, and the writing does not give you a reason to care who you marry. Mixed player sentiment sits right where you would expect for a package this thin. Where it works is as a first farming game for a younger player, or a wind-down toy for twenty minutes at a time. Judged as a full-price life sim for adults, it runs out of ideas well before you run out of land.
