Ghost Files 2: Memory of a Crime

I went in expecting a straightforward hidden-object detective romp, and Ghost Files 2 delivers exactly that. You play as Arthur Christie, an ex-cop untangling a crime that threatens his own life, moving between hand-drawn locations, clicking items into your inventory, and solving light logic puzzles to progress. The mystery ticks along at a pleasant pace, and the art has that sturdy Artifex Mundi look - competent if not flashy. Production values are modest, but the game knows what it is. Don't expect depth or replay value. This is a single-playthrough mystery that respects your time and doesn't overstay its welcome. The puzzle design leans toward "find the thing, use the thing" rather than brain-melting logic, which makes it ideal if you want a relaxing evening rather than a challenge. Trading card drops and cloud saves sweeten the deal for achievement hunters. It's a perfectly functional casual adventure for players who've exhausted the bigger names in the genre.
