About Escape The Lost Kingdom: The Forgotten Pharaoh
I went in expecting a forgettable museum tie-in, but Escape The Lost Kingdom actually delivers a competent point-and-click adventure. You're trapped in a cursed pharaoh's tomb alongside a family, and the puzzles lean toward inventory logic and environmental observation rather than moon-logic nonsense. The setting works in its favor, the Egyptian tomb is atmospheric enough to justify the locked-door structure, and the story doesn't overstay its welcome. It's light on dialogue and heavy on exploration, which means you're clicking rooms and combining items without much narrative hand-holding. That's a strength here, not a weakness. The downside: 2014 visuals show their age, and this is a short afternoon's worth of content, not a weekend project. Pick it up if you love old-school adventure games and don't mind obscure titles, don't expect polish or spectacle.
