The Elden Ring pre-order DLC bundle: a digital adventure guide and the exclusive 'The Ring' gesture for Xbox players. Small extras for a massive open-world RPG.

Let's be clear about what this listing actually is: a pre-order bonus DLC package for Elden Ring on Xbox Series X and Xbox One. It bundles a digital adventure guide and a bonus gesture called 'The Ring'. That's it. If you were hoping for a new region, a new boss, or an extra weapon category, this is not Shadow of the Erdtree. Temper expectations accordingly before clicking anything. With that said, the base game these extras attach to is FromSoftware's open-world action RPG set in the Lands Between, a world built in collaboration with George R.R. Martin and designed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. You pick a starting class, you get dropped into a hostile world with minimal hand-holding, and you figure out pretty quickly that every legacy dungeon, every field boss, and every fog gate is a negotiation between your build, your patience, and your willingness to read item descriptions at 1 AM. The gesture 'The Ring' is a cosmetic emote - useful for multiplayer etiquette or flexing on co-op partners, nothing mechanically significant. The digital adventure guide is the more practical of the two bonuses. For players new to the Soulsborne formula, having a curated reference document can shave off some of the early frustration around stat scaling, status effects like Scarlet Rot and Frostbite, and the non-obvious ways that Faith and Intelligence builds diverge past the midgame. Veterans will likely open it once, nod, and close it. It does not replace a full wiki, and it absolutely does not replace dying 30 times to Malenia. From a pure value-assessment standpoint, these bonuses exist because they were attached to launch pre-orders and are now surfacing as a separate DLC line item. If you already own Elden Ring and somehow missed these at launch, the gesture is a nice-to-have for multiplayer showboating and nothing more. The adventure guide has probably been superseded by the enormous community-built wikis and YouTube guides that have accumulated since the game released. Neither bonus changes the base experience in any meaningful way. Elden Ring itself, which this DLC requires to function, is a staggeringly dense RPG with one of the better open worlds FromSoftware has constructed. Build variety is genuine - Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith, Arcane, and hybrid configurations all feel distinct past hour 40, and the weapon ash-of-war system lets you customize movesets in ways that keep theorycrafting alive for a long time. The writing rewards exactly the kind of item-description archaeology that Soulsborne fans expect. Lore-wise it is rich and deliberately obscure. Filler quests are almost nonexistent, though some NPC quest lines are punishingly easy to miss without a guide. If you are buying this listing specifically for the pre-order bonuses, be aware you are essentially paying for a gesture and a PDF companion. The game behind them, however, earns every positive review attached to its name. Monika, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Minor cosmetic extras for one of the best action RPGs available - the bonuses are fluff, but the base game they attach to absolutely is not.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
