Dungeons 3: Famous Last Words
A dungeon-management strategy game where you build evil lairs and defend against heroes, but the campaign's narrative hook barely sustains its thin mechanical depth.
GamerScout Verdict
Lightweight dungeon sim best enjoyed as a relaxing co-op experience, not a strategic deep-dive.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Dungeons 3: Famous Last Words
I've logged enough hours in dungeon sims to spot the formula: you place rooms, manage resources, and watch AI heroes bumble into your traps. Dungeons 3: Famous Last Words leans hard on its evil-overlord framing - you're the last dark lord standing, and the campaign tasks you with rebuilding your empire. The co-op multiplayer is a genuine plus if you've got a friend willing to share the micromanagement load, and controller support keeps you from being chained to a desk. The problem is mechanical breadth. Room placement becomes rote after a few hours, and the AI doesn't force you to adapt your build order much. The campaign's story about a post-victory dark realm is thematically interesting but narratively thin - it's set dressing around familiar room-building loops. If you're hunting for a chill, co-op strategy game with low pressure and no competitive ladder, this scratches that itch. Anyone expecting Dungeon Keeper's depth or Thaumic Tinkerer's puzzle-solving will be disappointed.
