Three extra skirmish maps for Dungeons 3 veterans who have exhausted everything else. Thin on content, honest about what it is.

I've tracked every piece of Dungeons 3 content since launch, and A Multitude of Maps sits at an uncomfortable spot on that spreadsheet: it delivers exactly what the title promises, nothing more, and that restraint is both its selling point and its main liability. If you are already deep in the dungeon-builder loop, balancing creature rooms against overworld raids while managing trap corridors and Thalya's hero-side sorties, these three new skirmish arenas give you fresh terrain to optimise on. The maps, The Summoning Stones, Corpses for the Mortuary Mountain, and Re-burying the Golem, each carry their own layout logic and force you to rethink standard defensive build orders. That alone earns the pack a slot in the rotation for serious skirmish players. The honest problem is that the wider Dungeons 3 DLC catalogue had set a higher bar. Other expansions introduced story campaigns with sardonic narration, new enemy types, and novel mechanics, including the Clash of Gods content, which layered in a day/night attack cycle, buildable overworld outposts, and hero squads capable of establishing bases inside your dungeon. A Multitude of Maps does none of that. There are no new units, no new spells, no story beats, and no narrator banter to justify the session. The community noticed: the pack carries a 71% positive rating on Steam from a small review pool, well below the 94% that the base game holds across nearly nineteen thousand reviews. That gap is telling. For co-op specifically, the three maps are playable in online or local co-op, which gives the pack a bit more legs. Running a shared dungeon economy across Mortuary Mountain with a partner who understands creature recruitment queues is genuinely entertaining, and the maps do appear to be designed with two-player pressure in mind. Cross-platform multiplayer support means finding a co-op partner is easier than it sounds. Still, everyone at the table needs to own the DLC, so coordinate before buying. Who is this actually for? Completionists closing out the full content set, skirmish grinders who have memorised the base-game maps and need new geometry to stress-test their build strategies, and co-op regulars who want a rotation refresh without replaying familiar ground. Anyone expecting campaign content, voiced story moments, or mechanical additions will be flat-out disappointed. Treat it as map variety, budgeted accordingly, and it lands exactly where it should on that spreadsheet column marked 'supplemental'. Diego, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Worth it only for skirmish regulars and completionists; if you want story or new mechanics, look at Clash of Gods instead.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
