Compare Drawn to Life: Two Realms prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Digital Continue. Published by 505 Games. Released on 12/7/2020. Available on PC, Nintendo Switch. Genres: Adventure.

A quirky drawing-based adventure where you sketch your own hero to save the Raposa. Charming if you loved the originals, but don't expect deep platforming or puzzle design.

I went in expecting a spiritual successor to the cult DS platformers, and what I found was a much lighter, more casual experience. You draw your hero from scratch, then guide them through side-scrolling levels populated by the Raposa crew. The drawing mechanic is the hook: it's tactile and oddly satisfying to doodle your way through the game, even if your artistic skills (or lack thereof) don't really matter to progression. The problem is that Two Realms feels stretched thin. The levels are simple, the platforming lacks challenge, and the story beats land with a whimper rather than the heart the originals had. It's playable and occasionally charming, but it doesn't justify the wait since the last entry. Best for completionists of the series or players who just want a relaxing, low-stakes adventure where the act of drawing matters more than the game's mechanical depth. Alex, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Charming for franchise devotees, but thin on challenge and mechanical depth. Approach as a relaxing doodle-fest, not a platformer.
