Pure cosmetic fluff for DOOM Eternal fans who missed the Twitch drop window. Ten unicorn-themed items, zero gameplay impact, completely optional.

I'll be direct: this is a cosmetic-only DLC for DOOM Eternal, and the context around it matters if you're deciding whether to spend money. When DOOM Eternal launched, id Software's creative director publicly stated there would be no store and no paid cosmetics. Then, in April 2021, the DOOMicorn Master Collection arrived as a paid pack alongside the Series One Cosmetic Pack, converting formerly free Twitch-exclusive drops into purchasable items. That history is worth knowing. It generated real frustration in the community, and it's fair to factor that into your decision. With that out of the way, the pack itself is exactly what it says on the tin. You get ten items: the main 'DOOMicorn' Slayer skin, two variants ('Purple Pony' and 'Night-mare'), two podiums ('Magic Meadow' and the maxed-out 'For Those Who Dare to Dream!'), three animations ('Clip Clop' stance, 'Haymaker' intro, and 'Horsing Around' victory), plus the 'Love Conquers All' icon and 'Super Sparkle Slayer' nameplate. The concept is genuinely funny: the most brutal Slayer in gaming history draped in pastel unicorn regalia. id Software commits to the bit with full sincerity, and the animations in particular land the joke well. The skins show up in both the campaign and BATTLEMODE, and you can pose with them in Photo Mode if that's your thing. There is zero gameplay advantage here. Nothing unlocks, nothing carries over, nothing changes how DOOM Eternal plays. The 'Night-mare' variant at least leans darker and fits the game's tone a bit more naturally if the full rainbow aesthetic feels too jarring while you're trying to take platforming sections seriously. The 'DOOMicorn' skin itself is the most memorable of the three, which is probably the one you're actually here for. Who actually needs this? If you were one of the players who missed the original Twitch drop and specifically wanted these items, that group is narrow but real. If you're a DOOM Eternal completionist who wants every available cosmetic, this fills a gap in your collection. Everyone else should treat it as a low-priority add-on. It does not expand the game, add a mission, or change BATTLEMODE in any meaningful way. It is ten cosmetic items. Worth picking up only if that specific aesthetic speaks to you and you already have strong hours in the base game. Alex, Scout Team
