That is the whole first-hour hurdle, and it is worth pushing through only if you already own DOOM: The Dark Ages, because the Onyx Slayer Skin does nothing on its own. It is a cosmetic add-on that requires the base game to work. What you get is an alternate black armor set for the Slayer, applied in the campaign's skin selection. No missions, no weapons, no shield saw variants, no stat changes. Check the store listing for the exact item breakdown, since the pack is thin enough that the name covers most of it. For completionists building out the full cosmetic roster, or anyone who thinks the default Slayer looks too bright against all that medieval gloom, fine. Everyone else can walk past.
