About Diner Mania
I picked up Diner Mania expecting a time-management game in the vein of Diner Dash, but what's here is simpler and slower. You're running a family restaurant, hiring staff, buying ingredients, and watching the daily grind play out. There's no frantic order-taking or conveyor-belt chaos. Instead, it's a laid-back management loop where you make basic decisions and let the business tick forward. The interface is functional but dated, and there's almost no tutorial, so expect some trial-and-error figuring out what actually matters. It works if you want something to tinker with while watching TV, but don't expect depth or polish. The game's nine years old now and hasn't aged into a cult classic for a reason. For the price, it's harmless if restaurant sims are your thing and you have rock-bottom expectations. Just know you're getting the budget version of Overcooked's opposite.
