Dimension Drifter
A tiny top-down roguelite that demands patience with Early Access rough edges before its genuinely deep loot builds start paying out.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it if you build-craft for fun and can forgive unfinished presentation; skip it if polish is a dealbreaker.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Dimension Drifter
This one asks for tolerance up front. Not hours, not reflexes, but patience with a solo developer's rough edges: menus that feel unfinished, animation that stutters, presentation that never catches up to the systems underneath. Give it that, and the build math starts working. Runs are short, procedurally generated, and the loot loop actually branches. I found more meaningful weapon and modifier combinations here than in plenty of better-funded top-down shooters, and the decision space per run is real rather than cosmetic. What holds it back is everything around the numbers. Enemy AI is basic, encounter variety thins out faster than the build variety does, and there is no tutorial worth the name, so your first three runs are pure trial and error. Single-player only, no mod support, partial controller support at best. The 71 percent positive score from a small review pool reads about right: people who want a loot-and-build sandbox get one, people who want polish bounce off in twenty minutes. Know which you are before starting.
