About Bus Simulator 27 Year 1 Edition
The driving model is the best thing here, and it holds up. Bus physics have weight, licensed vehicles handle distinctly from each other, and route work rewards actual planning rather than waypoint-following. Underneath that sits a company layer with real decisions: which lines to bid on, how to schedule drivers and depots, when to expand versus consolidate. That is more strategic spine than most vehicle sims bother with, and the traffic simulation gives your timetables something to fight against. The problem is everything wrapped around it. The Mixed rating at 65 percent is earned, not brigading. Expect performance dips, AI traffic doing nonsense at junctions, and a tutorial that hands you a management screen without explaining what any of the numbers do. Online co-op works but adds instability. If you buy at launch, you are buying the patch roadmap on faith. Simteract has the foundation right, which is the hard part. Give it six months and this is a comfortable recommendation. Right now it is a conditional one.
