Boiling Steel
A VR shooter that hands you a hackable enemy roster and a weapon workbench, then asks you to forgive rough edges for a campaign that actually lasts.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth a headset session if modular gun-building and enemy hacking matter more to you than clean animation.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Boiling Steel
The weapon crafting is the reason to play this, and it holds up. Boiling Steel lets you bolt together modular loadouts rather than picking from a menu of fixed guns, and the difference matters once you start tuning a rig around how you actually fight: sniping alien patrols from cover, or brawling in room-scale space with something loud in each hand. Hacking enemies to fight for you adds a second decision layer most VR shooters skip entirely. MIROWIN also built an actual sci-fi campaign here, hours of it, instead of the twenty-minute wave-shooter demo that passes for a VR release. The cost is polish. Enemy AI is basic once you read its patterns, animations creak, and the story delivery is stiff. At 81 percent positive across a few hundred reviews, the community verdict tracks: ambitious, uneven, worth it if you want systems over shine. Single-player only, VR headset required, no mod scene to lean on. Come for the workbench, tolerate the rest.
