A throwaway mahjong solitaire game with anime girls that strips away everything interesting about both genres.

I went in expecting either a solid puzzle game or a guilty-pleasure fan service experience. Bishoujo Battle Mahjong Solitaire delivers neither. It's mahjong solitaire stripped to its most basic form: match tiles, clear the board, watch a timer tick down. The anime girls sit on the side looking decorative; their costume changes every third round feel more like a loading screen bonus than an actual reward. There's no strategic depth, no build variety, no reason to engage beyond burning 10 minutes on autopilot. The game exists in that liminal space where it's too shallow for puzzle fans and too boring for fan service enthusiasts. If you're hunting for a chill tile-matching game, Mahjong Solitaire has a thousand better implementations. If you want anime girls, there are games that at least pair them with engaging mechanics.
