GamerScout Verdict
A solid roguelike action platformer for players who enjoy punishing runs and snappy gunplay, but not a breakthrough title.

About Autogun Heroes: Supercharged
I spent a couple hours with Autogun Heroes expecting another run-of-the-mill mobile-port roguelike, and it mostly delivers on that front. You dodge, shoot, and roll through 2D alien gauntlets with responsive controls that actually feel snappy on a controller. The core loop is solid: clear a planet, rescue a crew member, loop back with a new weapon synergy or power-up. Nothing revolutionary, but it works. The catch is difficulty scaling. Early runs are forgiving enough to learn patterns, but veteran roguelike players will find the challenge ramping faster than the reward loop justifies. If you're into short, punchy sessions and don't mind restarting frequently, it scratches that itch. Just don't expect progression to feel breathy or the story beats to justify the grind. It's a competent B-tier action game that knows what it is.
