This one is for Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation completionists who already have hundreds of hours in the meta-unit meat grinder, and nobody else. It requires the base Escalation game to install or run, so if you own only the vanilla Ashes, it will sit inert in your library. Inception is a small inline add-on rather than a campaign expansion, and Stardock has kept the contents list on the store page rather than in the patch notes, so check the listing for the exact item breakdown before you commit. What it does not do is change your build order. Nothing here rewrites Quantum Relay timings, Turinium capture math, or how the AI handles multi-front pushes at higher difficulties, and it does not touch the map editor or the multiplayer balance you actually plan around. Treat it as a shelf ornament for people who collect the whole Ashes set, and pass on it if you are buying strategy content for decisions rather than decoration.
