Ashes of the Singularity: Classic
A 2015 real-time strategy game that banks on massive scale and destructible environments, but struggles with clunky UI and an overcomplicated tech tree.
GamerScout Verdict
Solid large-scale RTS for strategy vets comfortable with clunky interfaces and steep learning curves.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Ashes of the Singularity: Classic
Ashes of the Singularity is a large-scale RTS that throws hundreds of units at you and lets you demolish the terrain as you go. The core loop works, build, gather, expand, and there's genuine spectacle in watching a sprawling battle unfold across a deformable map. The problem is that the interface feels dated and unintuitive. Unit management becomes a chore when you're juggling multiple armies, and the tech progression tree is so dense that new players get lost before finding their rhythm. If you're chasing that old-school StarCraft or Company of Heroes feeling but want something newer and visually different, this scratches the itch despite its rough edges. The destruction physics add a tactical layer that most competitors skip. Just go in knowing you'll spend the first few hours fighting menus rather than enemies.
