I went in expecting a joke and found myself clicking away for longer than I'd admit. Anykey Simulator does exactly what the name promises: you mash keys, watch numbers climb, and unlock new keyboards with wildly different aesthetics. There's no narrative, no pressure, no fail state. It's pure incremental dopamine wrapped in chiptune vibes and pixel art that leans hard into the absurd. If you've played Cookie Clicker or similar idle games, you know the loop: click, watch progress bars, buy upgrades, repeat. This one's streamlined to the point of minimalism. No complex menus, no strategy layers, just you and the keys. It's the kind of game you launch while doing something else, let it hum in the background, and close it three hours later wondering where the time went. Not for everyone, but if you're wired for idle games and appreciate dumb humor, it scratches that itch.
