About Dungeons Of Kremlin: Remastered
I went in expecting a throwaway indie action game, and Dungeons of Kremlin mostly delivered on that promise. It's a straightforward dungeon crawler with real-time combat, basic loot progression, and pixel-art aesthetics that lean retro without trying too hard. Combat is point-and-click melee swinging, which works fine in short bursts but lacks the feedback or variety to stay engaging across long sessions. Levels are procedurally generated, which sounds good in theory but produces samey corridors and uninspired enemy placement that makes grinding feel like exactly that. The core loop of descend, kill, loot, repeat isn't broken, just thin. There's no story to speak of, no character progression hooks, and no reason to keep playing past the first hour unless you're the type who chases high scores in old arcade games. If you enjoy stripped-down roguelikes and don't mind visual polish taking a backseat to raw mechanical simplicity, there's a skeleton of a game here worth an afternoon. Most players will bounce hard.
