Animal Super Squad strips platforming down to its core: pick an animal character, roll through increasingly devious courses, and don't fall off. The physics feel snappy and responsive, which matters because you'll restart levels dozens of times. Each character handles slightly differently, giving you reason to cycle through the cast once you've unlocked them. The real draw is the level design - tricky but fair, rewarding you for learning the rhythm of each obstacle. It's rough around the edges as a 2017 indie title: no story, minimal presentation, and it won't hook you with narrative or charm. You're here purely for the platforming loop. If you want a zen puzzle-platformer with personality, look elsewhere.
