5Rings strips puzzle games down to one core mechanic: tap a spinning ring, rotate it to the right angle, repeat until the picture reassembles. You get 28 built-in target images to solve, but the real hook is the ability to import any picture and turn it into a puzzle. The game doesn't hold your hand - no undo, no hints, no timer pressure. Just you, geometry, and trial-and-error. It's the kind of game that works best in short bursts, more "coffee break puzzle" than weekend sink. The learning curve is flat enough to pick up instantly, but the difficulty ramps enough to stay engaging for a few hours. Not groundbreaking, but honest - it does exactly what it says without bloat.
