Zooloretto

Zooloretto strips away the bloat and hits you with one core loop: draw tiles representing animals and facilities, place them into your zoo, and try to score points without overcrowding or neglecting any species. It's light enough to teach in five minutes but has real friction, you're constantly choosing between optimal placement and the pressure of refusing tiles before someone else grabs them. The cartoony art masks some genuinely clever puzzle-solving underneath. This is a board game port that knows its lane. No story campaigns, no hand-holding tutorials, just clean mechanics that work. If you want a chill optimization puzzle you can boot up for 15 minutes or sink an hour into, Zooloretto delivers. Not groundbreaking, but it does the one thing it does well.
