Zoo Park Run Your Own Animal Sanctuary
A modest tycoon sim that gets the animal-welfare loop right and the enclosure-building tools wrong. Fine for a rainy afternoon, thin for a long campaign.
GamerScout Verdict
For casual tycoon fans who want an easygoing zoo builder, not the depth or polish of Planet Zoo.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Zoo Park Run Your Own Animal Sanctuary
The moment that sold me was a lemur enclosure quietly failing an inspection. Nothing dramatic, just a slow drip of unhappy icons because I'd crammed in one climbing frame too few and skimped on shade. Fixing that (rebalancing habitat furniture, hiring another keeper, nudging ticket prices to pay for it) is the whole rhythm here: place animals, watch their needs tick down, patch the gaps before visitor satisfaction craters. It's management sim comfort food, built around welfare rather than spectacle. Where it thins out is scale and polish. The building tools are functional but stiff, path-laying in particular fights you, and the visual presentation is dated enough that screenshots undersell what's actually a decent systems loop. Once you've learned what each species wants, the challenge flattens and later parks become bookkeeping. Go in expecting a lightweight, low-stress park manager rather than a deep economic puzzle, and it holds up for a dozen hours. Anyone hunting for Planet Zoo's depth will bounce fast.
