Sixteen levels of mouse-clicking tile defense that will genuinely cramp your hand if you let it. A micro-budget arcade game that commits fully to one idea, for better and worse.

I went in expecting a throwaway clicker, the kind that gets added to a bundle and never opened again. What I found in You Shall Not Break! is something narrower and more earnest than that, a small arcade defense game built around one surprisingly physical loop: falling objects rain down onto a grid of tiles, each tile slowly cracking under the damage, and your only tool is your mouse button. Click a tile to heal it a little. Click faster, smarter, and in the right order, or watch the grid splinter beneath you. The mechanic has a real tension to it in the early going. Each falling object deals its own damage amount, so you learn quickly that not all threats are equal. Spreading your attention evenly will get you killed; triage is the actual skill. Across 16 levels set in four distinct environments, the game squeezes that premise for everything it has, escalating the frequency and variety of incoming damage until your cursor is basically sprinting across the screen. Whether that escalation feels rewarding or repetitive is going to depend entirely on how much you enjoy pure reflex drilling. The honest limitations are worth naming. There is no narrative, no score system visible mid-run to obsess over, and no real mechanical evolution beyond new environments dressing up the same core challenge. Unlockable items and abilities are present, but they function more as survival tools than as builds you craft and express yourself through. The community around this game is essentially silent, which matters if you care about leaderboard competition or comparing times with anyone. Evistoria Games is a small studio out of Cyprus with clear ambitions toward entertaining players, and this debut release reads exactly like that: focused in scope, genuine in effort, rough at the edges. For the right person, this is a clean ten-minute session game. If you want something that fits between tasks, that gives your hands something frantic to do without asking your brain to commit, You Shall Not Break! earns its place. If you are chasing depth, builds, or a sense of progression that accumulates meaningfully, this grid will not hold you long. Go in with calibrated expectations and the compact arcade loop does what it promises. Kai, Scout Team
