A tiny night-defense village builder where your afternoon build order decides whether dawn arrives with survivors or ashes. Rough edges, but the loop grips.

Turn four, I had three villagers on lumber and none on the barracks, and the first wave rolled in while my only fighter was still walking home. That is Witch Way in one snapshot: a compact day/night strategy loop where you spend daylight assembling an army, laying out buildings, and assigning villagers to jobs, then hold the line until sunrise. The tension is entirely in the allocation math. Every body on resource duty is a body not holding a spear, and the game is honest enough to let you feel that trade instead of bailing you out. What it does not have is depth beyond that loop. Job assignment is thin compared to the colony sims it borrows from, the enemy AI mostly walks at you, and there is no tutorial worth the name, so newcomers learn by losing two or three nights. At 86 percent positive across a very small review count, expect an indie built by a tiny team, not a Paradox-grade systems machine. Single-player only, no mod support. If you want a two-hour-a-sitting defense puzzle you can actually solve by run three, it earns its place. If you want emergent late-game complexity, look elsewhere. Diego, Scout Team

Worth it for players who want a tight, solvable night-defense loop; skip it if you need deep systems or mod support.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
