About Welcome to ParadiZe Zombot Edition
This one is for players who want a co-op sandbox with a dumb-in-a-good-way hook and are happy to laugh off rough edges. Anyone hunting a serious survival sim with tight combat should walk away now, because the zombie taming is the whole point and everything around it is serviceable at best. You strap a control helmet onto a zombie, and it becomes yours: hauling resources, punching things, standing guard while you build. Managing a small crew of undead workers is genuinely novel, and the crafting and base building loop gives it somewhere to go. Where it disappoints is the moment-to-moment feel. Shooting and melee are floaty, enemy variety runs out early, and the open world is more of a backdrop than a place worth exploring. Solo, the busywork shows through fast. In co-op it flips, because splitting zombie duties and messing around with the systems together covers a lot of the jank. Play it for the premise, not the polish.
