Welcome to ParadiZe

Welcome to ParadiZe is a strange little game that knows exactly what it is: a co-op sandbox where you capture zombies, train them to farm or fight, and use them to hold the line while you scavenge for supplies. The core loop is straightforward enough for solo play, but it genuinely clicks in local or online co-op, where you can split responsibilities between base management and exploration. The writing doesn't pretend to be Disco Elysium, and that's fine. What it does offer is a goofy premise executed with commitment, solid controller support, and enough build variety in your zombie workforce to keep the formula from feeling stale past the first few hours. The Metacritic score of 71 is fair. It's not a polished AAA experience, and the gameplay loop can feel repetitive if you're solo grinding for resources. But if you have a co-op buddy and you're cool with low-stakes, weird-premise fun, ParadiZe delivers exactly what it advertises without padding or filler.
