GamerScout Verdict
For Chaosbane season pass holders only. Competent but padded filler that doesn't justify a solo purchase.

About Warhammer Chaosbane Tomb Kings
I went in expecting Chaosbane's core action-RPG loop to carry the Tomb Kings DLC. It does, technically. You get a new story arc set in Nehekhara with fresh enemy types and environments, but the pacing immediately feels sluggish compared to the base game's momentum. The undead faction leans heavily into slower, tankier encounters that play to the narrative fantasy but drag out encounters. This is pure Season Pass filler. If you're already deep in Chaosbane and want more co-op grind with your friends, Tomb Kings delivers map variety and progression hooks. Solo players and newcomers should skip it entirely. The story arc doesn't reshape your understanding of the Warhammer universe, and the combat doesn't innovate. It's competent DLC for a niche audience only.
