About Warparty
I went in expecting a straightforward age-of-empires-style game and got exactly that, just with velociraptors. Warparty is a real-time strategy game built around base building, unit recruitment, and resource management in a prehistoric setting. The core loop works: gather materials, construct buildings, train soldiers, then deploy them tactically while also hunting and taming dinosaurs to fight alongside your troops. It's a solid foundation. The problem is execution. The campaign feels thin, and once you've tamed a few dinosaurs and mastered the basic unit counters, there's not much left to discover. Multiplayer exists but the community is small. If you're a strategy fan hunting for something off-the-beaten-path with a fun gimmick, Warparty delivers that specific thing. Just don't expect the mechanical depth or staying power of larger RTS titles.
