Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Season Pass 2
Nine chapter-themed DLC packs worth of armour, weapons, and Champion skins for Year 2 of Space Marine 2. Strong value if you play Operations or Eternal War regularly, thin offer if you don't.

About Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Season Pass 2
I've spent enough time in Space Marine 2's Operations mode to know that looking right while chainsword-revving into a Tyranid horde is half the experience. Season Pass 2 is the Year 2 cosmetic commitment for players who are still showing up to the servers post-anniversary, and the pitch is straightforward: nine DLC packs dropped across the year, each tied to specific Space Marine Chapters with armour pieces, heraldry, Champion skins, and weapon skins for use in both Operations and Eternal War PvP. The pass opened on September 4, 2025 with two packs immediately available. The Black Templars Champion Pack delivers a Bulwark class skin and a Power Sword skin, which is genuinely relevant gear to show off in PvP, since the Bulwark is one of the more visible classes in close-range scrums. The Imperial Fists Cosmetic Pack covers seven Successor Chapters and ships with over 40 items including pauldron heraldry, decals, helmets, and knee markings. That breadth is good. Champions Packs and Cosmetic Packs operate differently, which matters: Champion Packs are locked to a single multiplayer class, so if you don't main that class, the appeal drops fast. Cosmetic Packs tend to spread heraldry options across more of your loadout slots and Successor Chapter variety. What follows across the rest of the pass is a lineup that should satisfy fans of specific factions. Blood Angels and Salamanders return for second helpings, while the Carcharodons, Iron Hands, and Raptors step into the spotlight for the first time. The Iron Hands get a full Chapter Pack format, which historically means Champion skin plus cosmetic set plus weapon skins. If Iron Hands are your Chapter, that is the standout reason to pick this up. The one annoyance worth flagging: some cosmetic pieces are only equippable in Operations and Eternal War modes, so if you spend most of your time in the campaign or custom lobbies, the wearable content pool is smaller than it looks. Let me be direct about the value calculus here. All the actual gameplay across Year 2, including new PvE missions, the Techmarine class, new PvP modes, and enemy types, is free for every owner of the base game. You are not paying for content that moves the gameplay needle. This is a pure cosmetics bundle. For players who care about Chapter identity, who paint miniatures on the side and cringe when their loadout doesn't match their preferred heraldry, Season Pass 2 is a reasonable way to bankroll the full year of visual customisation in one go versus buying packs individually. For players who picked up Space Marine 2 for the campaign and never touched multiplayer again, there is almost nothing here worth reaching for. Fred, Scout Team
