About Viking Heroes 5
I spent a couple hours with Viking Heroes 5 expecting Paradox-grade tactical meat, but this is purely a casual puzzle-adventure dressed in Viking skin. You're shepherding siblings through the Nine Realms after Odin botches his cosmic job, solving environmental puzzles and collecting resources in light, narrative-driven stages. The puzzle design is competent if unremarkable, pattern-matching and tile-swapping that won't tax anyone past an hour in. There's no combat AI to speak of, no build complexity, just progression gating tied to story beats. This lands squarely in the sub-$5 indie space where it belongs. If you're after a relaxing 3-4 hour story jaunt with zero mechanical friction, the Norse theming and cloud-save support make it decent for mobile-style gaming on PC. Strategy players hunting for systems to sink into should look elsewhere. The game knows its lane and doesn't pretend otherwise, which I respect. Diego, Scout Team
