About Undoing Evil
Undoing Evil positions itself as a narrative-driven fantasy RPG where you hire adventurers to uncover conspiracies lurking beneath a world's surface. The hook is solid: investigate, recruit party members, engage in turn-based combat encounters. The execution, however, feels undercooked. You're exploring a hand-crafted world looking for plot threads, but the pacing struggles and mechanical systems lack the polish or complexity that would carry a slower-burn mystery game. Combat is functional rather than engaging, and party composition doesn't reward experimentation the way a deeper strategy system might. This is a game that knows what it wants to be but hasn't quite figured out how to get there. If you're the type who tolerates rough production values in exchange for an unconventional story and don't mind slogging through turn-based fights that exist mainly as pacing breaks between dialogue, it has potential. Otherwise, there are better-realized indie RPGs competing for your time. Diego, Scout Team
