About Umbrella Corps
Umbrella Corps takes the RE universe and strips it down to asymmetrical PvP matches where you hunt zombies and other players for points. The core hook is solid: quick tactical engagements with gadgets, environmental hazards, and the threat of AI enemies creating unpredictable chaos. It's trying to be clever, mixing PvE stakes into a PvP shooter. Problem is, the netcode was rough at launch and never recovered, the maps are forgettable, and the skill ceiling isn't high enough to justify the friction. The game's dead now. Finding a match on PC is a crapshoot, and even if you do, you're up against ghosts of 2016 who already left. If you loved playing asymmetrical multiplayer shooters back then, this might scratch an itch as a novelty. Everyone else should pass.
