About Tyranny - Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack (DLC)
Tyranny's defining mechanic is the Conquest prologue, where you decide how the war was won before you ever move a character, and every faction's reputation math flows out of those clicks for the next forty hours. That is base-game territory, though, and this Deluxe Upgrade Pack does not touch it. What you get here is the supporting material: the digital soundtrack, art and lore reference documents, and the usual companion odds and ends that Paradox packages around an Obsidian RPG. None of it changes a single Fatebinder ruling, spell sigil combination, or Kyros loyalty check. So who is it for? People who finished the Tiers of Loyalty arc, cared enough about the Scarlet Chorus versus Disfavored split to want the worldbuilding notes, and want Justin Bell's percussion on a playlist. Everyone else should stay on the standard edition and spend the hours on a second playthrough instead, because Tyranny's replay value lives in the branching, not in a wallpaper folder. This is shelf-filler with good taste, not content.
