A wave-defense archery shooter that nails the bow but forgets everything else. Great for a short VR power fantasy, thin if you want progression.

In Death and The Lab's archery minigame set the bar for pulling a virtual bowstring, and Tribocalypse sits somewhere below both, with one thing it does honestly well. The bow feels good. You nock, draw, lead a moving target, and watch a tribol drop mid-charge, and the exploding fire flasks give you a satisfying panic button when a wave crowds the totem you are supposed to be protecting. It is a single-player tower-defense-by-hand loop: enemies path toward your totem, you thin them at range, you scramble when the range closes. Where it disappoints is everything around that core. There is not much structure holding the waves together, the enemy variety runs dry faster than the endless framing wants you to believe, and as a 2017 release it carries the roughness of early room-scale VR (functional, not polished). If you want a half-hour arcade session where your arms actually get tired, it delivers. If you want build variety, meta-progression, or a campaign, look elsewhere. Alex, Scout Team

Worth it for VR owners who want a quick, physical archery arcade fix and nothing deeper than that.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
